Serene Birthing

Serene Birthing is an innovative birthing method derived from experience, research and development of relaxation methods for birth. Incorporating Jewish sources and ideas, with unique practical techniques, we will prepare you, your birth companion and your family for all aspects of this new and incredible step forward on your life’s journey.
The Kolot Programme

Kolot is an innovative programme for year 7 girls and their mother, run by LSJS and based in communities in and around London. It offers a unique opportunity for mothers and daughters to spend one and a half hours together every fortnight, learning, talking, laughing and sharing with one another during the Bat Mitzvah year.
Rabbi Dr Julia Shindler

Rabbi Julian Shindler is director of the Marriage Authorisation Office and director of Rabbinic Liaison at the Office of the Chief Rabbi. He originally trained and worked as a research biochemist at the Universities of Manchester, Cambridge and Imperial College. He is also an accomplished chorister.

The Jewish Genealogical Society

The Jewish Genealogical Society of Great Britain promotes and encourages the study of Jewish genealogy. We assist all those tracing the family history of their Jewish ancestors. We encourage Jewish genealogical education and research and promote the indexing, transcription and preservation of old records.
